Rhythm and Blues, also referred to as R&B, is a genre of music that was developed in the USA in the 1950s. It was a combination of electric blues and gospel music. Earlier electric blues was a contributor in the development of Rock and Roll. R&B was a catchall term for music that was recorded by and for black Americans. Our selection of vinyl records represents a look into the 1960s and early 1970s, when they were first released and purchased. Vinyl records collecting is fun and educational, as they reflect the social moods and changes of that time. We hope that you have fun and enjoy your visit.
